Along with my neighbor, Donna Winberg (also a ceramic artist), we’re holding our first ‘pop-up’ Holiday Sale.  We’ve invited a few wonderful Guest Artists; we’re preparing Holiday Refreshments.  We’re doing all our promotion on-line – Hope you can help ‘spread the news’!!  If you’re wondering what to do with your Thanksgiving Weekend, hope you can stop by.

We have a Web Site with more Info — And a list of our Guest Artists….

The Pottery – New Bowls:

Ever since making a batch of new Rice Bowls last summer, I’ve been working with B-Clay (a white stoneware with great ‘flashing’ in soda firing) — And, I’ve been experimenting with different ‘decorative’ effects.

I’ve been throwing some larger bowls with rims and rim-statements.  Larger bowls — Perfect as Serving Bowls through the Holidays.  Again, decorative effects with slips, brushwork, wood-ash.  Still aiming for a decorative, but organic look.

And now, I must get busy — I have more just-made (still damp) bowls that need their bottoms trimmed.  Sounds like I’ll be having more ‘decorative’ fun soon — I’ll be glazing for another soda firing next week!

Happy Week-Before-Thanksgiving everyone!
