Thanksgiving – Table Setting

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!

I’m not preparing Thanksgiving Dinner this year — But I thought I’d offer a quick posting for the Turkey Festivities.  A simple, friendly Thanksgiving Table-Setting of plates and pots — Created by friends, by favorite artists, even by me.

A happy stack of pottery….

A few festive flowers; Small Vase (wood fired) by Guillermo Cuellar.

An Autumn Place-Setting!  Dinner Plate by Mark Shapiro (wood fire potter in Massachusetts); Square Pillow Plate by me (soda fired); Small Cup by Minnesota friend.

Dessert Plate — Stacked with really yummy Pumpkin Pie Squares.  I LOVE this plate — Exquisite!!  Made by Ikuzi Teraki and Jeanne Bisson of Romulus Pottery in Vermont.  They ‘specialize’ in absolutely lovely tableware — Do visit their Web Site:  www.RomulusCraft.com

Again — Happy Happy Thanksgiving — Everyone!!

  1. I love this look, Marcia. I’m especially interested in your recipe, Pumpkin Pie Squares. Would you mind sharing it?

It was mayhem at our house yesterday with curious crawling babies, and their brother’s high energy, but I understand that you had a nice dinner courtesy of Byerly’s at Barb’s. A belated Happy Thanksgiving!

    • Hi Barb —
What? Crawling twins creating mayhem!?! We had a very pleasant Turkey Day at Barb’s — And, of course, I’ll be happy to share Pumpkin Squares Recipe. If I don’t post it soon, I’ll send separately.
Have a good weekend — Marcia
