It’s time for Summer Veggies — Fresh from the Farmers Market!
It’s also time to announce the WINNER of my Summer (Garden Turtle) Give-Away!!
The Winner is Elise Delfield, a busy Potter in North Carolina!! I’m sure Turtle will enjoy a new home in her garden! CONGRATULATIONS to Elise!! And here is a link to her Web Site — www.PincuPottery.com
And Thank-You to EVERYONE – For all your comments, for your interest in pottery, and your interest in turtles!! For the drawing, I collected all the entries in a wonderful large bowl (below), made by Dick Cooter (of Northern Minnesota). My ever-agreeable husband drew the winning name.
And now, those Summer Veggies:
In the same Dick Cooter Bowl — Wonderfully wood fired in his kiln up on the North Shore (Lake Superior) of Minnesota — I’m sharing the latest summer veggies….
Minnesota Sweet Corn (finally), Zucchini and Yellow Squash, Japanese Eggplant, a few Tomatoes. I’m sure this bowl was made just for all these summer goodies. I can’t wait to slice into those tomatoes, and cook something exotic with that eggplant, and CHOMP on that corn!!
Hope everyone is having a great Summer (with lots of fresh veggies)!
And again, CONGRATULATIONS to Elise Delfield!!
