  1. Hi Marcia…
Maybe I will be lucky and win a second time. I have enjoyed having and using the bowl that I won.

I wish that I had a soda kiln available for firing, however will have to stick with ^6 electric and Raku for the present. I do enjoy your posting, especially the recipes and also seeing what pottery you are working on.

BTW, I make ‘Toad Abodes’ that look like turtle shells.

The heat is oppressive here as well. Keep cool. Gail Laughlin

  2. Love the goggles on the turtle! What a fun way to spend some time with clay!!!
I am a fellow potter and especially enjoy seeing your food-pot shots. If I had photo skills, this would be something I would love to do. My cupboard is full of various potters’ works and I love to cook.
Though I have no pots by you, I would really be tickled to win your turtle to place in my garden!

  3. Hi Turtle creator! I liked seeing the turtle in the kiln with the “creature” tucked under its shell for firing!
Enjoy reading your blog and seeing the transformations of your work!

  4. Oh my goodness, these are too freakin’ cute!!!! I love turtles! 🙂

I’m a blogger and a want-to-be gardener!!! 🙂 Thank you for the chance, this would inspire my garden, for sure!
